Robert Cray "Strong Persuader" (off the Strong Persuader CD, I believe)

Stevie Ray Vaughn, I think the song is called "Tightrope"

Tasty, groovy, good bass.

allman Brother have some good straight up blues tunes like "get on with your life" that has some good 5-string allen Woody blues.

Oteil Burbridge does a nice 5-string blues on Gov't Mule's "Deep End Vol 1" on "worried down with the Blues" (Damn tasty Derek Trucks slide work on that track too) "The Deep End vol 2" has a wild "Catfish Blues" with Band of Gypsy's Billy Cox on his Cort Bass

BB King's usually got some good nbass parts on the more traditional blues songs he does too.

Lost in the Blues by Otis Rush,

and,

Showdown by Albert Collins, Johnny Copeland, and Robert Cray.

Just pick a top blues musician (usually guitarist) and the great bass work will follow. Here's a start:

Buddy Guy
Muddy Waters
BB King
Albert King
Freddie King
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Little Walter
Otis Rush
John Lee Hooker
Robert Cray
Howlin Wolf

I like Robben Ford's Blue Line as a 'modern' take on
Blues-Rock...Roscoe Beck on bass & Tommy Brechtlein on cans round out this trio.

Derek Trucks has some nice stuff, too. Todd Smallie, his bassist, is pretty decent.
