The intro to One Of These Nights was pretty hip for a AM radio hit.

"Life in the Fast Lane"

But not a big Eagles fan here. Southern California soft rock - eeeewwwww

Hope my wife doesn't see this

Personally, I like "Hotel California".

"On The Border" is "funky".
"Outlaw Man" has a little bass solo that impressed those that followed my garage band in the 1975.

"Lyin' Eyes" is a snoozefest.

Life In The Fast Lane - weird off beat rhythm.

Check out "To Many Hands". Randy miesner does a great vocal, and a really cool bass run over the bongo-indian thing break. I can't recall which album it was off of.

On the Border, as was mentioned previously. Aside from that and 'One of these Nights,' is the only Eagles bassline I can remember.

Ditto. The song itself is a masterpiece, and the bass line just fits in perfectly, doing what it is supposed to do. Randy Meisner is seriously underrated - plus, too many people think Timothy Schmidt played that line!
