What frequency is each bass string?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I had no clue where it should go.

I'm wondering what frequency each string on a bass guitar is centered at. So if I have an equalizer and I want to boost or cut the d string, which frequency slider should I move?

It's not really that easy though. If your D string is giving you trouble it may not be at its fundamental, and only the lowest note at that string will sound at that pitch. You've just got to drop each slider in turn until you find the right one. If you've got a good ear you'll just know which to use eventually.

lemur has a good point--on any note on the fretboard, you aren't hearing only one frequency--you are hearing a whole bunch of frequencies all together. While the D has a fundamental frequency of 73, thats not the only one that you are hearing
