What Genre is my song.

Ok so I have done a greensleeves arrangement

BUT

what would you class the genre as (VERY specifically, to a sub-genre)?

My teacher said it was some kind of jazz.

Is that a valid style I have to put it on my a-level score-sheet.

Yeah, you could put it under Jazz. Jazz is a very large genre, so you'd be safe.

I was wondering whether anyone could put it into a sub-category like bebop or avant-jazz?

Hmmmmmmmmm

First off.....nice touch and I dug the groove b/t you and the drummer......my feeling its a Jazz thang with some Motown/avant-garde influences...very cool sound
