What grooves to use as demos?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey everybody,
I just finished sprucing up my website(www.chriswolfmusic.com), and I recorded a few demos of generic grooves with my dad to put up there. I like them and I'm going to leave them in the site, but I think they might be a little similar.

I'm looking to record just a few short samples(no covers) that show versatility. I want it to look to attractive to a studio person in the event that they get my business card.

What are some important, basic styles or grooves that you think most bassists should know?

P.S. I can probably get a good drummer soon. Oh, and feel free to comment on the website too.

**EDIT: Fixed URL***
