Though a lot of Dio lyrics are way too D&D and I enjoy on an ALMOST jokey sort of way (even though I like Dio a lot), some of his stuff is really well written.
A bit corny, but I dig the line from Heaven and Hell, "The closer you get to the meaning, the sooner you know that you're dreaming." And actually, I'm really behind the Rainbow song "Stargazer" for over the top battling a wizard type lyrics.
He is, after all proto-power metal.  Dio truly is the king of his style.

btw, Heaven and Hell kicks. I've seen them twice. First time they weren't so good (kinda boring) but Megadeth opened so it was good. Second time they played iwth Testament, Motorhead, and Priest. All were good, and glad to say that Heaven and Hell brought it the second time around.

Trust me, I know that tiger and I wouldn't take it's word on the "clean" thing. I'd ask to see some documentation of this supposed cleanliness.
