What Rock Anthem(s) do you never tired of?

Sign in to disble this ad
Classic rock radio has made it a point to play some 500 songs to death, but I believe there are some that no matter how overplayed, remain an amazing musical display.

An example:
Black Sabbath - Iron Man: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IUSxeFJ1gM

Due to over exposure, perhaps one of the worst Ozzy era Sabbath songs (I don't know what I think of "Changes" either). But it's genius, and as the video displays, an amazing live band in their hayday. And they look too weird to be hippies, it's hilarious.

What are some "Rolling Stone's Top 100 Rock songs" type list songs do you still fully enjoy?

Big +1 on "Surrender" by Cheap Trick.

As far as other classic rock radio tunes, here are several I still like:

"Frankenstein" by Edgar Winter
"Born To Be Wild" and "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf
"Foreplay/Long Time" by Boston
"Maggie May" by Rod Stewart

We have The Rock (NZ radio station) playing all day in the office. Classics to burn...

I never tire of anything by Iron Maiden. Big fan back inthe 80's, and hearing them really takes me back.
