Not a huge Smashing Pumpkins fan, but The World is a Vampire is a fantastic song.

yeah, pretty much anything off gish or siamese. i used to play in a band that covered today. that was such a fun song to play when both guitars knew the right parts and we made the chord changes the way the pumpkins did.

Mayonnaise.

I think Siamese Dream is "one of those albums." Just such a great record front to back, one of the top-10 albums of that decade.

That band evolved so much too...first time I saw them live, probably 1992-1993, they were BAD. Got booed off the stage, Corgan was rambling on way too long about something. Saw them a couple years later at Loloapalooza, and it was night and day, sounded much tighter.

Yes, Siamese Dream is one of those perfect albums that just worked from the first drum roll.

I'll assume this isn't a joke. That's Bullet With Butterfly Wings.

If it IS a joke, then my favorite Who song is Teenage Wasteland.

My favorite is easily Cherub Rock. Second place is a tie between the following:

Siva
Zero
1979
Muzzle

Everything off Melon Collie!
Best modern Prog Rock album ever. (I don't care what genre anyone calls the Pumpkins their third album is total prog.)
Dawn to Dusk... Tonight Tonight will always have a special place in my heart.
I'd say Bodies, 1979 and XYU are the best on Twilight-Starlight

Earlier works... Sooth, Disarm, Silver****, Daydream... Pumpkins rule!
lol sorryt about the rant I'm on a SP nostalgia kick now thanks to this thread!

While they made some excellent music afterwards...I don't think they ever topped Gish....their finest hour in my humble opinion.

Gish is great beginning to end and all my favorite SP songs are from it. I love Siamese Dream also but it kinda ended for me after that but I respect everything they've done.
