What song(s) would you like to have played at your funeral?

Markseb1 just mentioned in the lol-worthy "heaviest band ever" thread about how he would like Black Sabbath's "Under The Sun" played at his funeral.

Now, as macabre as this seems, i've totally thought about this before as well!

I guess my answer would be "Glory to the Brave" by Hammerfall

What about you?!

Afterimage (Rush) followed by It Was A Very Good Year (sung by Sinatra). Maybe The Long and Winding Road (Beatles) as everyone walked out.

My funeral will feature a program of Frank Zappa and Weird Al, with maybe a couple of fast banjo tunes. Can you still get Tiny Tim's stuff any more?

I told my brother the other day, no neckties, Hawaiian shirts for the men.

I'd want some Candlemass at my funeral. While people are crying( or maybe cheering) over my casket, I want them to hear, "YOU ARE BEWITCHED!!".

Mr. Bungle's first album, followed by "We are the Champions". I want people to be confused yet feel as though they won something.

"Time Stand Still" by Rush. Lyrics on that one are some of Peart's best.

And because of my New Orleans' ties - "Down By the Riverside" by a full brass band.

You mean:

You Are BEWIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiched

Can they do that little "Zombies dancing in one place" dance?

I still giggle every time i watch that video, it's so great. I mean.. it had Dead from Mayhem in it! You know... before he was actually Dead.

They better do the Doom Dance at my funeral. Its pretty crazy Dead was in that video, Messiah pushes him at one point if I remember correctly.

"Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding" Elton John

That guy and his bass player Dee Murray are responsible for my current state of insanity as a working musician.

"Suck My Kiss" RHCP and "Canned Heat" Jamiroquai

Two songs that really made me happy whenever I heard them. And I've got canned heat in my heels all the time.

Time stand still has great lyrics, but I think the best are the pass. I love talkbass. I'm the only rush fan where I live who can name a rush song besides tom sawyer.

Did someone say afterimage? Well, I feel the way you would!
