What is this song by The Who?

Sign in to disble this ad
I remember a long while ago seeing a video by The Who, and the song had a bass solo in the middle of it. It wasn't My Generation, but it was kind of similar, in that it did stop-time tradeoffs for the bass solo. It wasn't The Real Me, either. Any ideas? Unfortunately, I don't remember much about the video, I think it had the guys in the band running around a building sped up, Monkees style. Sorry it's not much to go on, but I'd like to find the song...any ideas?

The only one that comes to mind is "Dogs Part Two," which is an instrumental....

Maybe "Call Me Lightning" off of the "Magic Bus On Tour" album, 1968

I've seen that kind of thing in the Happy Jack video where they're running around fast and robbing a bank or something...

Sounds like Call Me Lightning... Most of the video thay made for it ended up as Cobwebs and Strange on TKAA, I believe.

Despite my infinite love and respect for The 'Oo, Call Me Lightning is awful. Even the squelchy bass solo....
