1. Arthur's Theme
[sing]When you get caught between the Moon and New York Ciiiiiiiiiiiiiiity..."[/sing].
Nuff said.
2. Every Breath You Take
Dude, this song DEFINES the eighties.
First thing I remember is Sting's hair.

Songs that really take me back are...
I Melt With You - Modern English
Shot in the Dark - Ozzy
Peace Sells - Megadeth
You Got Lucky - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers |

Kim Wilde, The cars, talking heads, quiet riot, huey lewis, KC & the sunshine band, Mic Jackson, Blondie, Duran Duran was the 80's, soft cell, spandau ballet, UB40, simple minds
Music here in the 80's seemed to have a strong UK presence.

I always think that is soooo 80s - it could never be of any other time - terrible name, terrible clothes and hair....
But funky bass to the fore!

Simple Minds
Early U2
Early REM
The Cure
And okay, I'll admit, cheesy hair metal. Who among us hasn't cranked the radio a little louder and yelled along to 18 and Life?
