I'm trying to get together some songs to do instrumentally as walk in music for our church. I want songs that make you think of summer. We do all kinds of music at this church. I've done Linkin Park to Gov't Mule, Bon Jovi to the Stones, so almost anything goes. Instrumentation is two guitars, keys, bass and drums, one of the guitars usually playing the melody.
recognizable tunes for a 20's to 50's crowd.

anything from "Frampton Comes Alive!"

| | | well, not really sure it fits, but anything bob marley and reggae in general is very summery
Also, a lot of songs on the cafe del mar series of compilations have a lot of remixes or they are remixes already of the originals and spell summer as well, although a lot of them are more towards electronic music. At times they include more jazzey tunes that are great. |
