What is your Favorite part of Beethoven's Ninth?

For me it would have to be the 3rd Movement. (Adagio molto e cantabile)

I'd suffice to say it's the most beautiful piece of music ever composed.

So, what's yours?

Pretty much everything up until the vocal parts start. It just seems so perfect until then.

Ox:Have you seen this version? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2AEaQJuKDY

Karajan is fantastic! Be sure to check part 2 if you've never seen/heard this version.

Indeed I have!, It's actually my favorite version.

The soloists and the choir are especially awesome on the Karajan version(s) - him and the Berlin Philharmonic go together perfectly.

I don't like any of it, he stole the whole thing from Handel.

The music is amazing but writing the piece completely deaf just boggles my mind.
