Mine's One and the Same. The bassline in that song is fun as hell to play.

With the song "doesn't remind me",
did Audioslave cover the Foo Fighters, or did the Foo Fighters cover Audioslave?

My two absolute favorites would have to be Shadow on the Sun (the epitome of Tim Commerford tone, in my opinion) and Shape of Things to Come. But there are countless others that I like.
Rage Against the Machine - good band... but too much political rap for my taste
Soundgarden - great band... but that doesn't change the fact grunge isn't one of my favorite forms of rock (though Soundgarden probably did it for me better than any other band)
Audioslave - I wouldn't actually say perfect, but for the purpose of this thread... Perfect.

Funny story about that one. Cornell came out to sing it acoustic, and the lights were down low. Some lady decided to climb onto the shoulders of the man she was with, and flash the stage. A number of security decided to shine their Mag lights at her, a visual way to tell her to get down. Well, a combination of the Mags and the low house lights, it worked as a spot light. The crowd went nuts for her, and Cornell had no idea what was going on That first tour was awesome. |
