It seems to be a ubiquitous romantic tune in many circles (for example it's a big wedding song), but has anybody ever closely examined the last verse? It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,
I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight.
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight."
So let's see, he gets totally trashed at a party and gets his babe to drive them home. Then she helps him stagger into the house where he immediately crashes and says how great she is as he nods off in bed. Gotta love it!

Yeah, there's nothing quite as direct, intimate, and profoundly emotional as whispering in your sweetheart's ear
"A man conceived a moments answers to the dream,
Staying the flowers daily, sensing all the themes.
As a foundation left to create the spiral aim,
A movement regained and regarded both the same,
All complete in the sight of seeds of life with you.
Changed only for a sight of sound, the space agreed.
Between the picture of time behind the face of need,
Coming quickly to terms of all expression laid,
Emotion revealed as the ocean maid,
All complete in the sight of seeds of life with you."
All chicks dig that schidt
... not! |

Uh, +1000 to In My Life by the Beatles I like a lot of their songs but that's the only one I love
Lots of Roy Orbison songs, though 'Crying' makes me cry, In Dreams is good too.
So many more, that I can't even think of, I'm a hopless romantic.
P.S. - Sold my Soul by Black Label Society
Helps keep me sane in my line of work.
