| | Registered User | | Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Chicago, IL | | | Xanadu... it's got it all... lush atmospheric synths and percussion (chimes, temple blocks, bell tree), slow and uptempo sections, exuberant vocals, fantastic drum fills, great guitar solo, Geddy on bass, keys and guitar, and sci-fi/fantasy lyrics based on a Victorian era poetic epic and most of it is in E major (a key Rush built their careers on, especially the E - F# change and a ton of fifths!!) It's got it all.... Xanadu is quintessential and classic RUSH.
