Anthony was not a great bass player, but man, could he sing. He was, also, a good complement to EVH.

Me and my buddy Larry make fun of this band to no end. To the point of reciting the talking breakdowns ("Running a little hot tonight... I can barely see the road for the steam coming off it...") and acting out Roth's Flying Splits.

Not sure how this helps the thread in the slightest, but I thought I'd share my two.

Before I get attacked by a rabid VH fanboy, this is just light-hearted ribbing, don't take it personal.

My personal favorite is him talking to Vai's guitar in Yankee Rose offa his solo stuff.
Thats a horny little guitar.
