where to find Bass backing tracks?

Sign in to disble this ad
hello all

I love all the guitar backing tracks out there, but there's no bass that I can find!

Someone said something about ripping the tracks minus the bass off of guitar hero discs, which doesn't sound very legal.

Anyone know of any good bass backing track sites?

I don't see how it would be illegal. It wouldn't be copyright infringement, unless you later tried to sell the tracks you ripped. If you can physically do it, go ahead, just do it for your own personal use and there'll be no problem.

It's not a salesright, it's a copyright. You are legally limited to making copies of other people's ideas and products.

You're better off getting yourself a high-quality playback system that's capable of reproducing the bass in a way you can hear clearly.
