My friend (g*****ist) found the white album by the beatles on vinyl, any idea as to it's value? Full of original postcards etc.

Well this is one of the best selling albums ever - everybody had it in the 70s - even my cousins (coincidentally Irish) who didn't really buy any albums had this album!!

I've seen it in junk shops for 50p!!

All depends on condition. Popular artist, widely circulated record, noticably used condition = no value at all.

Mine has white vinyl...pretty positive that is not an original pressing.

IIRC, the original copies had "Serial Numbers" on the cover?

Now, if someone out there has an original "Butchers' cover"...mint condition is going for, what, $15,000-$25,000?
There are a couple of decent websites dedicated to this.
