Why God?! Limp Bizkit content.

When I saw they have a new album coming out I wept . Their first album was pretty good and they just hit the crapper from there. Admittedly I like the band except for Fred Durst who needs to realize that music is not his calling.

I just listened to the song "Gold Cobra" and was digging it until Fred ruined it with his crap rapping and lyrics that mean absolutely nothing. Still really dig Wes Borland and John Otto, wonder why they still use a DJ.

Comment?

Yeah, I have to agree on the part about Fred Durst...I've felt that other members could have made a good group without him in the picture as well.

Not a Durst Fan at all. Used to like them a lot back in the day.... This song still has a KILLER bass line: YouTube - ‪Limp Bizkit-Re-arranged (Lyrics in discription)‬‏

They are pretty good even with Fred Durst. I don't think I would've liked them better with a different vocals style.

Same for bands like Primus, etc.

Are are serious when you compare Primus to Limp Bizkit?

I don't like Primus, but at least they know how to make really good music and not the kind of crap LB puts out.

I agree. I'm not the biggest fan of Primus (I own none of their records) but they do put out good music. Is it unique and made for a specific taste? Sure. LB though has never been a great band and they never will be either.

That video made no sense either. It was basically Fred Durst rapping in front of a band while giving the bird and watching a hot chick jiggle her goods.

You never know, maybe Fred spent the last ten years learning how to sing.

Hopefully he also spent the time learning how not to be a douche.

No, I was comparing a good band with a crappy vocalist to another good band with a crappy vocalist.

They both got crappy vocals but that's also what makes them unique and why I like listening to them.

I would agree. Both put out first records that were pretty good and then they went terribly downhill from there.

Do you know how long it's been since Primus made a really good record? 20 years. Yes. Sailing the Seas of Cheese was that long ago.

When Fred does that nasal-ish "YEEeeaaahhh!!!" I always picture him as a Powerpuff girl, shooting up into the sky with his homeboy power.

Personally, I quite like Limp Bizkit, and adore some of Sam River's bass lines

But each to their own

My soul just rejoiced... internet humor will likely survive the current slump and potentially enter a new golden age. Please, please, please let this album go platinum...

Now that is hilarious! That made my day!
Fred Durst is their weakest link IMHO
