i grew up outside the chi so i will be the first to say i have had more smashing pumpkins force fed to me than id ever care to x10 but that just put it over the top...i hope james brown haunts Billy Corigans creepy pastey *** til the day he dies

Ya know...I like the Smashing Pumpkins, but that was horrible. I mean it was so bad it should be illegal.

Good on them for having the knackers to actually cover a James Brown song so differently. At least they know where they're musical convictions lie.

I personally didn't like the cover, but then I'm not a huge Pumpkins fan. But I'm sure someone out there appreciates it, I at least respect it.

At the very least they should have just called their version " Power ". They took all the soul right out of it.
