Listen to the tune, Yeah It`s sometimes lost in the mix....But if you listen carefully and you have a copy of the bass transcription you realize this bassline is really a piece of art....The most difficult bass lines of the Stones played by the great soul bass player Willie Weeks...I wonder how he came with those ideas, so creative and always changing..If you read the Bass recorded transcription of the song you will get what I am saying...he never repeats a measure..and he syncopates all notes.
Sad the bass is so low in the mix, I realized how great it is when I started reading and learning the bass line...And it is one that is very difficult to memorize, I need to read it to play it note per note..
Give it a listen, it is and underrated tune for bass players, but it has some of the cooler licks I`ve heard in a Rock and Roll tune.

Sounds like Charlie's diggin' it too. Actually got a funky groove on the chorus.

Yeah, that's Kenney Jones of the Faces on drums on that one.
