that "woo-hoo" song by blur

i don't think that is the name of the song but i bet most of you know which song i'm talking about. it's the one where he sings "woo-hoo" a lot anyhow, is the bass tone in this a combination of a real bass and a synth bass? the tone is HUMONGOUSLY FAT.

I cant help too much, but the song is called "Song #2"

I think its been discussed in the effects forum. It is a pretty legendary bass sound.

i am fairly sure he used a gibson les paul bass, so i would say using that helped get a lot of that tone

thanks guys. and i'm ashamed to say i didn't even use the search function even though i normally do.

interesting answers. that sound is huge. i thought there was some synth bass in there somewhere but that doesn't look to be the case.
