Somethin tells me you know that kid. Nice playing, by the way. Needs a little work to warrant the "amazing" tag still.

Loads of talent there.... I would imagine in a few years of some steady shedding the "amazing tag" would be right at home. The true talent there in my opinion was his feel for melody. Composition isn't easy and for such a youngster.... pretty good stuff.

What impresses me more is his decent control in Jaco's Teen Town:

I enjoyed it, especially the harmonic stuff.

I just don't understand how some people's videos are severely out of sync with the audio and video though on YouTube.

He's cool - and much better than I was at his age - if he works at it (which it looks like is already) I'm sure he'll be great in the not too distant future.

actually his father is a member here and posted links to Charlie before.

Not bad for his age... Like I said the last time, get him in a band so he learns to be part of the tune.

I really enoyed his solo piece. It reminded me, in style, of the first 2 minutes of Stu Hamm's solo from the G3 DVD.

Who else plays stuff like that?

I guess I will eventually, as nice stuff likes this inspires me to try.

thanks, K
