I'm sure it's simply diligence and hard work on mastering his instrument. You don't come out of the womb better at music than someone else just because you are the son or daughter of a talented person, imo.

EDIT: What the hell? The post I was replying to disappeared.

Looked like either a Pensa or a Celinder. It had either Bartolini or Celinder pickups with the closed, rounded pickup covers.

Nice tracks. Nice song/performance. Etc... Thanks! Check Garth Brooks as "Chris Gaines" some excellent music there on the "Greatest Hits" album, if you like the music in the OP's link. There's no good "Chris Gaines" clips on YouTube, but perhaps iTunes has some samples.

I wonder what those guys can really do. Sounds like the cheese stuff we play at the white church.

That Abe Laboriel's skills were passed down, as his father is a world class bassist.

imo, only knowledge and experiences (telling of) can be passed down. Perhaps also environment growing up. Still, I've known many sons and daughters of greats and they are just that - sons and daughters. I think Abe Jr is a monster because HE made it happen, not genetics.
