Hi Folks

Me and my band SHINESKI are extremely proud to offer our new album "The Wild Lane" as a free download on http://shineski.bandcamp.com
10 tracks for fans of Queens of the Stone age, Foo Fighters, RATM,...

I'm very happy with the bass tones we got in there, so this is how bass was recorded:

1968 Jazz Bass > Sovtek Big Muff > VT Bass > SVT-VR+810

Miced with D112 for low end and SM57 for midrange dirt, into neve preamps.
I also had a clean sansamp PSA line for blending purposes.
Nothing exotic, just the perfect stuff for rock recording!!!

The album in 100% auto-produced, we had some badass rooms, preamps and mics available.... And I must say the result is overwhelming....
Thank you for listening, share with your friends, parents neighbours, pets,...
And post your feedback!!!

When you heard Gojira doing Progressive Metal, it's no surprise that the French can do Rock too. =P

Yeah, the thing is that most french made rock really really sucks.... But yeah, Gojira kinda rocks, and I know they're quite appreciated over the United Snakes...

Hey folks!!
We'll be back in the studio tomorrow to record some more material for the physical release of the album, including a cover of David Bowie/Nine Inch Nails "I'm afraid of americans".
I'll post some pictures and sounds asap, in the same time, don't forget to download the digital release!!!

+1 on the NIN vibe! Just finished listening to the first couple tracks, am really enjoying it so far

Great bass as well, playing and tone-wise--very energetic. Thanks for sharing this!
