Nice... the key player was playing a bit heavy in spots. Is Rocco with them again... I don't know, it kinda shocked me... no shots of the bass player.

Dude, that was Chester Thompson! If you don't know, you need to ask somebody! Yep, Rocco was playing. There was a quick far away shot of him!

I'm just sayin', in a band that big, it's hard to keep the spaces that make it groove. He's a helluva player, I'd just like my key player a bit more minimal in a funk setting.

Is that a new vocalist vs. the original What is Hip? Sounds different... not better, but not worse.

Yep, he's the newest singer. Has better range (Close to Lenny Williams range) then the last guy and better attitude from what I hear. That vid just happened to be a mix of TOP and the Santana Band hence the harder funk nuance! They had 2 guitars and 2 keyboard playing at the same time. Chester Thompson is a monster player though! The kind of guy you'd 'want' in your band! I guess I come from a more keyboard/bass oriented funk era so it didn't bother me none!

Oh c'mon! That keyboard player kills! Also he is playing JUST like all organists played in previous ToP records. He might be too high in the mix though... Oh and there are 2 organists playing at 1 time in this band.

The new singer swings really hard I like him.

Check this one out.

The 2 keyboard/organists explains what I was thinking.

Still, amazing clip... what a tight band.

I've posted this before! This is a smokin' set! Somebody ripped that from the Bumpcity.com site.
