I had about 150 cd's stolen from my car a couple weeks ago so now I am in the midst of a cd buying spree, but I could use some ideas. What better place to get some recommendations than TB?
So what were your favorited bass albums of 2006? I don't necessarily mean bass-centric albums (Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, etc.), just albums that had great bass lines and playing, whether on upright or electric. Open to all genres.
Let's hear what moved you this year!

As for recommendations: Dream Theater - Score. Great bass playing from John Myung.

As for recommendations: Dream Theater - Score. Great bass playing from John Myung. | I had two of the Case Logic 72 cd cases and a few more misc cd's laying around. No changer. I live in LA and spend 10x more time listening to music while driving than at home. Still have about 600 sitting in my apartment.
I feel lucky though because my friend's car was parked right next to mine in the driveway and he had his $5000+ stereo system stolen out of his Honda. And this happened in a "nice", suburban, gated community. Whoever did it was a pro. Both of our cars' alarm systems were not tripped and there was absolutely no damage done to either vehicle, not a scratch.
