Youth P&W Band-Feedback

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all!

I've been working with a youth praise and worship band and we've put some videos together that I'd like some feedback on. The music was recorded in one take but I had to add the vocals in later. We're looking to start doing some more recording/music videos and I'd like to get feedback on areas where we can improve.

Thanks!

Forgot to mention that I'm not playing bass in this one. I'm doing lead vocals. The bass player is playing my bass though....

WOW. Band is great, your voice, sir, is astounding! Do you sing with any other praise band at church? That really is a blessing. Excellent job!

Thanks for all the positive comments!

Mike, I've been working on trying to play bass and sing at the same time but it's much more difficult to play bass and sing than guitar and sing. I'm slowly getting there though. When I play bass and sing I tend to follow what I'm playing (rythmically and note-wise) with my voice...Weird, huh?

I do the exact same thing! I either follow the bass or the bass starts to follow me. It is not one of my gifts but I am working on it! Right now I try to at least sing the simple chorus parts. In any case, good job on that video.
