Hey, my band Metal Jeff & the Jefftones put a saxophone/bass jam up on myspace last night. We have 7 or 8 songs that we still need to record, but I thought this was a cool song to start w/ Just a single mic into a 4track, but it came out alright.. Still need a vocalist, but this song will be instrumental anyways. w0rd.

I like it, but I'm not getting a Zappa vibe off it. Certainly a Claypool thing going on. I think it would work better if there was another band member as well. There is a lot going on, but some sparce guitar/keys something to provide chording would be nice.

It's almost too Frog Brigade with the Claypool inspired slap and perhaps the Skerik (sp?) influenced sax. It has that vibe. Sounds like a bootleg from one of their shows.

Haha.. Well, we have other songs w/ keys and guitar and such. The guitar player switches off between saxophone and keys and our keyboard stuff is much more Zappa'ish I suppose.. But yeah, we're looking for a singer. We'd welcome another guitar, but it's not something we're pushing too hard for. Thanks for listening

Btw, for reference, here's a clip from another song of ours: http://viceroy.nixanadoo.com/Music/0...liptonight.mp3

We're very diverse in our style
