I just found this link on another forum: http://www.zappa.com/zpz/videos.html

The ZPZ tour comes through KC in October and I'm looking forward to it. Anyone else going or see it yet?

I only wish they would come to my town, I'd be there all right!

See it if you can. It definitly worth your money, albeit that Terry Bozzio and Steve Vai were (IMHO) the weakest parts of the show.

I'm there....

Man, I saw the Chicago in June, and it blew my mind. I've seen 300+ shows of varying genres, and it was in my top 3 at least...Depending on my mood, a Herbie Hancock quartet show and an MMW show might beat it out.

I was worried it was going to be like a cover band, but it definitely was not. I hope they keep it going for a long time. I think Dweezil channels his dad. He plays just like him, and the band is phenomenal.

You'll have a blast at any show you go to. I'm going to the Cleveland show this tour, and I can't wait. I hope he successfully passes on FZ's music to a younger crowd, which I think is part of the goal of the tour(s). Me and my 2 friends were by far the youngest at that show - and we're mid-20's.

EDIT: No knock on old-school FZ fans intended.

You think so? At the Chicago show, they were both exceptional, but I've always been a fan of Bozzio songs and was charged to get a chance to see them live.
