Zombi- Surface to Air .....AWESOME bass/drum prog rock!

These guys are a mere duo, with one doing synths/bass and the other drumming. Their music is totally instrumental prog rock, heavily influenced by horror soundtracks. It's semi-creepy, but not scary and macabre– rather Bradburyan in that aspect. Their newest record is really sweet, very spacey and ambient. Many grooving bass lines, melodic synths and locked drums. My favorite track is the 18+ minute closer "Night Rhythms." Very much worth your time and money!

Why thank you sir. Listening to Zombi makes me feel like reading Bradbury's "The Haloween Tree."

I saw them live recently opening for Isis. Very impressive and amusing, something akin to a two-man version of Rush's "Subdivisions" I'd say.
Very cool. I saw Pelican live, and thought they were a solid prescence despite being entirely instrumental. They opened for Opeth!
