Zoom H4n recording question

Sign in to disble this ad
Am thinking of buying a Zoom H4n.

What I'd like to have the ability to do, take a reference mix of one of our songs, load it to the Zoom, have one person (guitar, bass, or vocals) be able to listen to the reference mix while recording on the Zoom, pull the newly recorded track off the device and import it to be desktop for mixing into a final version of the song.

From looking at the manual, it seems I can do this. I am hoping to get confirmation from someone who has done it before plunking down the $300.

Thanks much
