Another cool guitar!

Here's a really cool Suhr that just came in. It's a special order, so it's already been sold. But I thought ya'll might dig seeing this really cool "drip" finish that John does.

It's actually just like it sounds (they call it a "drip" finish). They hang the body and drip various colors of paint on it. Gravity carries the color down the body.

You can actually see air bubbles and texture in there, it's a lot of fun to look at close up. Once they're happy with the colors, they use clear coats to make a surface that's thick enough and flat enough to polish without touching the color.

Here's another whacky paint job style that Suhr produces. They call these swirly jobs "Nova" finishes. The one is Blue Nova. The Red Nova and Purple Nova Finishes are even crazier.
