Roscoe recently received another really nice Bubinga board that they have since cut up into a bunch of lovely tops. I've grabbed three of them. The first one that will come through is this thin, bookmatched top that will go on this Century Standard Plus 5-string.
This pic is pretty rough. You can see glue squeeze-out at the seam, and the top hasn't even been sanded smooth yet. It will only get more lovely and refined as they get further along in the process!
Bird's Eye Maple Board? Ash Body? J Pickups? Black Hardware? It's all in there!! |

You can see the outline of where the body will fall on this one in pencil.

I'm not allowed to sell Roscoes directly into Canada, and I happily abide by that policy. Dave at Club Bass (the Canadian Roscoe dealer) is a great guy with a great business, and we've worked together happily a few times in the past to get a bass that I had in stock into a Canadian customer's hands. We basically split those kinds of sales.
So move along, nothing to see here. |

Thanks to Greg, who has been nothing but fantastic to deal with so far. As he mentioned I have a great local dealer whom I have bought Roscoes from before including my current SKB custom, and likely will again. In this case it was just a matter of Rocket having on order exactly what I was looking for with a great top already selected. The timing works out well for me and I will be receiving it in the spring. |
