G&L Pricing

It seems that G&L pricing is one of the few mysteries left out there on the internet. I'm happy to fill that void, so here I will detail the pricing for the various bass models and related options. This is current as of July 2011. I also included plenty of links to the G&L site for further detail where appropriate.

Please note that all of the prices that I show here are given in terms of MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price). The lowest Internet Price you'll see anywhere is 75% of MSRP, and G&L dealers (like me) are only allowed to go under the 75% mark privately (phone calls, email, PM's, etc.). We can't post our "best price" online. So use this pricing info as a rough guide, and then by all means get in touch with me for a firm quote on the G&L instrument of your dreams!

You can:
1) PM me here on TB or
2) Call me @ 877-449-GEAR or
3) email me at greg@rocketmusic.net.

It's not on their price list, and with G&L that usually means it's not an option. They've got more of a "factory" mindset than the other builders I carry (Roscoe, Lull, Gadow, Tuttle, Melancon, Suhr, etc.)...

OK, all of the prices in Post #1 are updated to 2012. It didn't take long, none of the prices changed. The 2012 Price List just makes the new M-2000 and M-2500 models official. Phew!!

I just received the 2013 price list from G&L. Once again, the only changes were the addition of a couple new models. New for this year are the LB-100 and MJ-4 models! The pricing on existing models stayed the same.

The LB-100 is a throwback - it was discontinued some time ago, but is now available again!

The MJ-4 is G&L's "modern" take on the jazz bass. It's got the L2K body w/ hum cancelling J pickups and a 3-band active preamp. I was reallly excited when I first saw the MJ-4 on the price list... but then I saw on their website that it wasn't a J-bass body shape. It might just be me who is dissappointed by that, but I was really hoping it would be a noiseless/active version of the JB bass. Oh, well, I'm sure it's a hip bass, especially for cats who are after more of that G&L vibe!
