Genz-Benz Night @ Rocket Music!

Jeff Genzler and one of the GB engineers one of GB's endorsing artists (Doug Johns) will be visiting a few stores here on the East Coast in February. They'll be here at Rocket Music the evening of either Feb 8th or Feb 15th.

Logistically, it will be similar to the Anthony Wellington clinic that we held last month. I'll clear our sales floor & setup some chairs. Then Jeff will do an informal presentation/Q&A sort of thing. Should be fun and informative, and we'll have all of the GB gear hooked up for sure!

Admission to this event will be free, but I would certainly appreciate some RSVP's if you KNOW you will be attending.

They are encouraging video taping and audio taping, so I'll certainly be doing that.

We'll try to lock down the date sooner rather than later so we can all plan ahead a bit.

Whew, For a moment you had me looking at my schedule and scratching my head!

For those of you who know Doug, attending that night is a given and for those of you who don't know Doug, it's really worth seeing him do things on (and to) a bass that most players haven't dreamed of yet. A really interesting and talented musical approach that left me with my jaw on the ground the first time I saw him play. Really nice and approchable guy too.

Any of you folks attending NAMM can stop by and chat with Scott and me there, please do.

Sorry 'bout that!! I blame Craig H.

We're really looking forward to this evening of Genz-Benz. It should be a lot of fun! Sorry we won't get to meet you (this trip, anyway)!

I attended one of Jeff’s clinics in Phoenix about a year ago. Excellent! Well worth a few hours drive for anyone close to Rocket Music.

Roscoe and Gadow are close! Might be fun just to do an evening carousing with folks from either of those!

Greg, I'll come up to Blacksburg when the Genz event happens. Are you doing a notification list of some kind?

Just check back here. Once the time is set (which should happen soon), I'll post it here.

It'll be an evening thing. I imagine we may start as early as 6 or as late as 8... what's your preference? I can't promise we'll be able to accomodate your wants, but I can certainly try to steer it in that direction...

Alright - the date has been set: February 15th!

Now I'll start trying to pin down the time.

"Honey, for Valentine's Day you can buy me a Streamliner 9.0 and have Jeff Genzler personally hand it to me"

Ahhh, Greg, what timing. Making a man's dream come true.
