Sounds like a winning combination!

Say Greg, assuming you are reading this thread, is it possible to specify a weight range when custom-ordering a G&L?

Good assumption!

And, yes, it is indeed possible to request a light bass from G&L. That's the most usual request, anyway, and G&L has always been able to deliver in that regard, at least in my experience. I'm assuming you don't want to order a 12 pounder?!?

Thanks for the order, Scott! I hope we're able to knock it out of the park for you. On time, right specs, etc., etc., etc.

While we have the attention of the TB community, maybe someone out there can help answer our one outstanding question: does anyone know where G&L puts the side dots on an unlined fretless? Do they move the dots to where the frets would have been, or do they just do the usual dots between frets?!?

I've asked my G&L guy, but it's the weekend... and I want an answer NOW!!

Everything I found on the interwebs indicates the dots are on the fret position.
