This one will have a single MM pickup from Nordstrand. I'm still waiting on that to arrive. Bummer, I expected to see it this week, but I guess it has slipped into next week. Sorry to hold you up, Ryan! |

I didn't know that you were starting it this soon Bill. Great looking top. What's the body and fingerboard woods? |

I'm looking forward to watching this one progress. |

I'm looking forward to watching this one progress. | You got it Joe!
Thats exactly the vibe I'm after, even got a sweet John East pre-amp for it.
The bass/treble controls, and the preamp itself are voiced to match the vintage 2 band EBMM pre-amp, but it has an added mid control, with a frequency sweep. When set flat the mids are completly neutral, so you keep the vintage 2 band sound.
Also having a series/parallel switch put in, for the more modern series sound.
I'm looking forward to the progress too!

| | | Every time I read one of these build threads and you guys start discussing specs and tones and what not, I realize how utterly clueless I am in general
Still, congrats on the nice new bass! |

That tops really got some nice figuring going on. And I really like the slightly different look of the normal grain. It's got a cool pattern going on there too. It should really look nice when the finish is applied.
