May I show off my new Gadow Bass?

I didn't buy it from Rocket but I bet he can get one for you! Here she is.

5A maple top, Ash body loaded with EMG's! Hipshot hardware. You guys have got to try these! I've had all the high end basses and this is by far my favorite. Did I mention it was actually affordable!

Your club would be very exclusive.

Looks like active EMG's to my eyes.

Gimme headstock. These basses have a nice HS(as well as the rest of the thing).

Gadows have some of the sexiest heastocks out there.

Let me try to get some pics of the headstock. I know Ryan has got a pro picture of it somewhere. Hang on...

ARHHH, my camera is on the fritz! I can't get a headstock shot so this pic from Ryan will have to do for now.

Wow, that's really beautiful... the stain on the maple is a perfect match for the fretboard. Yummy, dark chocolate goodness all around!!

Was this a special order? Just curious since the pickups look biased more towards the neck than Ryan's usual placement...

Well it is his custom 4 string but I didn't order the pickups that way. This is one of the first ones so maybe he was playing around with the arangement. I'm guessing about that. Maybe he will chime in soon.

I'm sure if anyone wanted to order one from Rocket Music they could get the pickups in any postion they wanted.

One more thing, don't forget this is a 24 fret neck. Maybe it's an optical illusion. 8)

It's wonderful guitar that I'm dreaming of. How much does it take?

Oh, shoot, sorry I missed your question! Ryan's basses can start as low as $1500-1700 for a passive 4-string. But Ryan's basses are custom basses, so you can easily get into the upper $2Ks and lower-mid-$3Ks with a few options (like active electronics, exotic wood tops, etc.).

Not knowing the specs of the bass in this thread, I'd be totally guessing on the price of this bass. Maybe Ryan Gadow can chime in with the list price on this one?

Seems to me, that they're in 60's J position.
