I always thought it would be cool to do a sunburst with all trans finishes, yellow to red to dark maroon or a trans black. Not sure if that is possible though...
btw, iirc you're in SoCal. I had a Grosh for awhile and was thinking of refretting and Don recommended you. I didn't realize you did basses. Hmmm...  |

I do know that in guitar circles Grosh fretwork is highly regarded (has been for many years), and Michael is known as one of the best guys around. |

Teals and gray/greens can look awesome if you get the right shade. Combine that with black hardware and it is truly striking.
