Mike Lull Price Increase Effective Feb 1!

Hey, guys - just wanted to get the word out that there's a price increase coming from Mike Lull that will be effective Feb 1, 2012.

To help you guage the change: an M4V today lists for $2900, and it will be going up to $3299. In terms of the street price, that means going from $2175 to $2475.

They are accepting orders at the old prices right up until Feb 1. So if you've been thinking about a Lull... you might want to put your thinking cap into overdrive and make a move before January is over!

You're not supposed to tell us these things. That's dangerous information to have!

Glad I already have one! However, I would suggest to any self-respecting bassist: Get one, you want to be cool like us, right?

Seriously, they are fantastic and the CS is awesome.

Good for Lull! This sounds steep, but compared to the competition, these are still a remarkable value. Despite my already ridiculous fleet of Lulls, there are still two specs I'm lusting after, and I wish I could sneak in under the wire....

13 to 14 percent is a hefty jump. Glad I'm broke.

It's apparently been quite a while since their last increase, and they obviously don't want to do another jump anytime soon. So they're making it count.

I think I also picked one of the worst case ones to show as an example. The passive basses don't seem to be jumping as bad on a percentage basis...

I think it makes sense to do a larger jump less often as it makes it easier to keep track of what things cost when they aren't changing a little bit every few months.

As has been mentioned, even at the new pricing they are competitive with other basses of that level.

I think they (Lull) are essentially "pulling even" with their competitors. That just means for those that can grab one, they can take advantage of the MASSIVE value of their current pricing. New pricing is still value positive, just not I STOLE THIS pricing.

God Bless, Ray
