We just received this lovely
G&L SB-2:
We don't move a ton of USA G&L basses, but I want to get to the point where we do. So I decided to let my G&L rep spec out a few basses for me since he knows better than I what sells for G&L. This is the first one to show up, and I'm pretty knocked out. It's definitely not something I would have come up with - it doesn't usually occur to me to dress up (TGN neck, cream pickguard) an otherwise plain bass (clear red over swamp ash?). But the overall effect of this bass is just a classy, nicely aged looking bass that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I could easily own this bass and be happy.
