New Arrival - USED 2008 Warwick Thumb BO 6

Here's an old friend returning to the store. I sold this 2008 Warwick Thumb BO 6-string bass to dDaddyBass back in 2009 when it was new. The bass doesn't look like it's been touched, it is in seriously great condition. And it's drop dead gorgeous!

I'm asking $1899 shipped OBO.

Wow, the color/grain in that piece of wood looks great. I bet that thing tips the scale north of 11 pounds though, right Greg?

hhmmm? Ya know, i never weighed it while I owned it. But, I would be surprised if it went over 11.

Yep, it's 11.3 lbs. But it's a light 11 lbs.

Wow. I didn't realize it was that heavy. I guess that wide leather strap I purchased from you helped.

Yeah, and that's why I don't like publishing weights of instruments. A lot of guys will see 11 lbs and not even consider the bass. I understand the guys with back problems or whatever, but an average guy can play an 11 lb bass just fine... IMHO, of course. Heck, Les Pauls (a guitar!!) top 12lbs pretty often...

you could go with what my dad told me as well: "son, you're not useless...you can always serve as a bad example."

As a previous owner of a Thumb 6 about identical to this one (except slightly heavier), I can say that for some reason, these basses don't "feel" as heavy as they are. I don't know if it's something to do with how they hang on a strap or what it is for sure, but I never noticed the weight of mine, except for when I was carrying it in its gig bag.

Regardless of what some others may say, I found it to be a very comfortable bass to play. Well, except for the narrow string spacing.
