I sold the bass new to the previous owner, and he recently traded it in towards a custom Roscoe order. He's been experimenting with wood combinations, and this was the Ash/Maple experiment.
Here's a great chance to get a great deal on a like-new Roscoe 6-string! 2011 Roscoe Century Standard 6 (Black Onyx)

...FWIW, this is a VERY new bass, and it kicked @$$, played and sounded fantastic!
Someone will score on this one...

There's one VERY minor ding on the upper horn. The original owner told me about it, but it took me three tries to find it. It's tiny, and it's basically invisible the way it sits in the finish. You have to hold the bass up at an angle to some strong light to see a little dent in the reflection.

One big thing to remember is this bass is a solid Ash body with the satin finish; any "dings" on the body are non-factors. You really can not see the one on my bass and, trust me, since I bought it I have given it some new "dings" on my own. These are meant to be played.
Someone will snatch this up soon I imagine. Good luck with the sale Greg. |

The previous owner is looking for even more edge tonally than ash/maple provides, so his upcoming custom order is a solid maple body and just one pickup (the bridge pickup, at that). That oughta do it. |

That oughta do it. | I've had a couple solid maple basses and they were the punchiest I've ever heard. Not light though, which is the main reason I sold one of them because otherwise it was awesome. If your back can take it, the sound is great! |

I've been wanting to try a Roscoe 6 with a while now, but without having to front the price for one, as it may cause problems for me.
This one though, at this price I'd roll the dice, hard and fast, had I the dice to roll...
Some one *will* score, and score big with this, quickly too I'd imagine, 2nd hand Century Standards almost never last for sale.
