New Bergantino Cabinets!

Jim Bergantino has officially announced his new product lineup, and the cabs will be shipping towards the end of this month!

I just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up about what cabinets will be available and how much they cost.

The two existing NV models continue to live:

NV-610: $1349 + $100 shipping
NV-412: $1349 + $100 shipping

The NEW cabinets belong to the new HD series. The common features are NV tolex covering, black corners and ceramic speakers. The new models/configurations are as follows:

HD112: $649 + $50 shipping
HD210: $769 + $50 shipping
HS212: $999 + $80 shipping
HD410: $1099 + $80 shipping

I'll pass along further technical details and pics as they become available. Jim B. tells me a pro photographer just left his shop this morning, so some official images should be available within a few days or so.

I'm placing my opening order for these new cabs today, so I am now opening up for pre-orders if anyone wants to reserve one of these first cabs that ship. A 20% deposit will let me place your name on any of them!

Yee-haw! I'm super excited at the prospect of having Bergs flowing again, I can't wait to hear these new cabinets!

Nice. I've heard rumors that the HS212 is an absolute MONSTER of a cab. I can't wait to officially hear that one!

Yep, that's the early word. Apparently puts the AE-212 to shame, and that's saying something!

The HT112ER specs should be in the ballpark. I don't have any firm technical details yet, though, so that's just a guess. The specs should be available soon, and I'll post 'em as soon as I have 'em.

In the meantime, I've cleaned up the Bergantino Cabs and Bergantino Accessories sections of my site. All of the stuff that is obsolete has been removed (except for the one HS-210 cab that I have left in stock). There is a lot of "Coming Soon" floating around these sections, but I'll fix that as photos become available.

Here are some specs I'll call tentative. Jim B says he'll release official specs in a few days, but that these should be really close (if not exact).

HD112
DIMENSIONS: 18.5"W x 15.75"H x 15"D
WEIGHT: 43lbs
FREQ RESPONSE: 40Hz - 18kHz

HD212
DIMENSIONS: 18.5"W x 31"H x 15"D
WEIGHT: 79lbs
FREQ RESPONSE: 40Hz - 15kHz

HD210
DIMENSIONS: 18"W x 22.75"H x 12.5"D
WEIGHT: 52 lbs
FREQ RESPONSE: 44Hz - 15kHz

HD410
DIMENSIONS: 22.75"W x 25.5"H x 15.5"D
WEIGHT: 85lbs
FREQ RESPONSE: 44Hz - 15kHz

So the HD-212 will be designed horizontal more like the Uber 212 and not vertical like the AE-212?

Fair to assume the HD212 will be rated @ 4 ohms? As much as I love my AE212, I have a sneaky feeling the HD is going to be ferocious.

I don't have any info on impedance, but I suspect you are correct, Jerry. We'll see for sure in a few days when I get the final specs from Jim... sorry I can't be more definitive!

Ditto!

If these dimensions are correct:

HD112
DIMENSIONS: 15.75"W x 18.5"H x 15"D
WEIGHT: 43lbs
FREQ RESPONSE: 40Hz - 18kHz

...then that means the height of the cab is higher than the width, which is quite different than the HT112ER. That type of configuration sounds more like the Audiokinesis Thunderchild. Hmmm...

Bah! I probably screwed up again... Jim's quick note regarding specs was that the HD112 is the same size & weight as the HT112 ER. I just copied the specs from his website, and I now see that he is inconsistent in the order HWD vs WHD... silly me, I should have been more careful.

He is NOT reconfiguring these cabs in any big way. What was horizontal is still horizontal, what was vertical will still be vertical. I'll go back and try to get it right one more time.

Sorry for the confusion, everybody! My bad!

Thanks Greg for that clarification!

(As Mr. Mom said, "110, 111, whatever it takes")

So, now I am left wondering what the difference is between the HT112ER and the "new" HD112.
