God Bless, Ray | Yeah, I was in terrible condition around december - january.
I crawled through the eye of the needle. (I don't if that's a common saying in english, it is in dutch.)
I got new medication which helps a lot. The sediment levels from my blood went from about 110mm to 10mm (on the 200mm test).
So I felt much better.
So good that I started excersizing again, after 7 years of doing no sport at all.
I now fitness, run an bike (mountainbiking). And my condition is now better than ever.
My specialist (specialist in rheumatism) was very surprised last time she saw me.
Due to my rheumatism, my shoulders en neck were disfigured: curbing to the front. Over a period of 3 months I managed to get my shoulders back 4cm en the center of my head back 3cm. All through excersizing. Which I am proud of.
I am fitter... and look a lot fitter too now. No beer belly and a lot more muscular.
So everything is going a lot better physically.
My professional life is still very hard. It's the equivalent of 4 fulltime jobs. I am not exagerating, other similar stores/garages have 4 persons on the payroll to do my duties and have my responsibilities. I guess it's all going to be worth it in the end.
So that's why I haven't been able to be on Talkbass much. (For example, I started writing this post 2 hours ago, and I get constantly interrupted.)
Too busy with other stuff.
Although with my physique improved I am now able to play bass again on a decent level.
Okay back on topic...
Awesome Ryan... I can't wait... actually I can wait as I have proven.
So what's up guys? What have you guys been doing? And what did I missed? |

God Bless, Ray | I'm not using facebook anymore, so sorry.
I'm too busy to be around much, but I'll try.
Can you believe I spend more than 8 hours a day behind the computer for work, and I don't have time to visit Talkbass. |

I got an update from Ryan not too long ago. Both bases are under way, and one is nearly complete. The diamondwood one is further out, but Ryan did report success getting the diamondwood glued on the rough neck.
Hopefully your message will prompt Ryan to post a more up to date update! |

Not that I'm in better health I have no excuse to NOT play bass anymore. |

Basses, uh, just an SX Stingray knockoff since we've spoken, I think. I did pick up a Telecaster yesterday though...
Utterly loving the Gadow, brilliant axe.

Which reminds me, next ting I'll order from Gadow will probably be a Bakersfield guitar.
I better order it now... so I'll have it by 2013. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
