Not my bass to order though, so you'll have to speak to that guy up in Blacksburg!

I've been thinking about that top ever since I first saw it 2-3 years ago. I never put it up on my site because I planned to make it into a 6-string for myself at some point. I only just recently gave up on that happening, and you grabbed it right away. So I can't wait to see it!
Yeah, looking at past threads, it was nearly two years ago now that I was wanting this top for a custom build. I guess waiting pays off sometimes!

I am very anxious to see this one take shape (and to hear the new MM/J pickup configuration!)

Speaking of the electronics - I meant to tell you that I confirmed that they will indeed be adding a switch (series, parallel, single coil) and will most likely mount it between the volume and mid knobs. That's the only change from the more typical Roscoe controls.

Holy crap, that thing is amazing. The wenge accents throughout the bass really tie it all together, and the bubinga 12th fret inlay is the icing on the cake. I don't even need to comment on the quality of that top.

I like all Roscoes, but I really think they've stepped things up in a big way the last few years.

LOL. We used to collect "Bump" road signs when I was younger, and I still have a few hanging in my garage. It's hard to get that paint up, though, I bet!!
