Every year I tell myself "this year I'm going to go big with Suhr basses". And every year, I run into the same problem I just did. Suhr is so busy at this point that new orders are going in for January 2013 production. Well, this year I'm not going to let that deter me, I'm going to ignore that delay and order a bunch of Suhr basses anyway. So Maybe 2012 won't be the year I go big with Suhr basses, but 2013 is going to rock!!  
I've scheduled these such that I should receive one each month starting in Jan 2013. The "coming soon" image associated with each of these orders on my site is obviously laughable, but hey - at least they're in the queue!! So here's what I ordered today: Suhr Classic J 4-String (3TSB)
- Alder/RW
- 3TSB, Tort guard, 4-hole control plate
- Suhr's Humphrey noiseless J PUPs & active 2-band EQ Suhr Classic J 4-String (Ice Blue Metallic)

Each guitar represents a production slot, and I can typically re-allocate the specs of a given production slot roughly 2-3 months from the current date.
So say you wanted to order a Suhr bass. I could get you one a whole lot sooner than January 2013. By manipulating my production queue, I could probably get you one by July or August 2012 (as of today, anyway - that'll slide as time goes by).
Just throwing that out there in case anyone is in a bigger hurry than I am.  |

I'm working on him about a 9" radius right now for the three basses above with the 3-band EQ...

I kept thinking "I'll order a bunch when a 5-string is available". Well, I'm tired of waiting, I want some Suhr basses in stock. |

I didn't even know we had another Spalted Maple topped Suhr on order until I was putting the sheets for these three into our order book the other day. I guess Danny helped you with your order?
