More killer blue (and purple, too!). Both guitars were recent special orders (i.e. already sold) from John Suhr!

Suhr Modern (Trans Blue Denim)

Suhr Modern (Purple Nova)

The guitar gods are shining on us this week, we're really getting some nice ones! Check out today's new arrivals from John Suhr and Gerard Melancon below.

The Melancon Cajun Gentleman is absolutely nuts. It's like a Tele and a Gretsch got together and had a baby. It's absolutely gorgeous, and it sounds really, really nice to boot.

Suhr Modern (Inferno Burst)

Melancon Cajun Gentleman (Aged Honeyburst)

Here's some more fodder for your buddy, Mark. This one is a definite "Yowsa!!" It's got a carved top that is just stunning in person.

Suhr Carve Top Standard (Honey Amber Burst)

Ok, If I were a billionaire I would buy these Shur guitars just for the sake of art. These instruments are absolutely incredible. And I've never played one; this is purely cosmetic on my end. There really is nothing that compares to a handmade American guitar in my view.

Since I'm not a billionaire, I will simply view and post on TB without fear of credit card-related damages. Kudos to the photographer, whoever it is

If a 3 Tone Sunburst is too wild for you, you can always go with something tame like this.

Suhr Standard Carve Top (Gold Sparkle)

Coincidentaly, in my 2nd band (the most fun.... band I currently play in), our leader / lead guitarist is freshly into Guthrie Govan - Shur endorser; this could be good for Greg's business. Maybe I will convince him to follow in Guthrie's footsteps and buy one of these beauties.

What do you say Greg: Buy a new Roscoe and Shur, get a free T-Shirt (or 2 year old capo )?

Sorry for the gloat, but this is too cool for school. Suhr even makes their dealer award plaques with superb craftmanship!

Nice Greg - Congrats!

Too bad they didn't do "Rocket Music" in a similar inlay...
